(College Classes)

You need both documents below. The first is the New River application. Part of it, the Provisional Student page, needs to be signed by me or a principal. The second is the GEHS request for early release form that needs to be completed and returned to me. To get approval in the Fall, you must provide proof that you are enrolled and have paid for your class(es).

Early Release

(Work Based Learning)

In order to leave early for work, you must be completing a CTE program here at East and the CTE teacher must be involved in the process as your sponsor. You need to have a job that relates to the CTE program you are completing. You can pick up the paperwork from Counselor Vincent or Principal Vincent. The paperwork should be submitted to Principal Vincent ideally in early August. All job placements need to be approved by the school board.

Virtual Classes in School

West Virginia Virtual classes are designed to offer courses to students that are not offered in their regular high school. The course offerings can be found HERE. In order to take a virtual course, a student needs to have a teacher here who agrees to serve as their mentor. The student is then assigned to that teacher for whatever period is worked out between them. In order to do a virtual course, students need to complete the following forms.
