Ruby, the Greenbrier East school therapy dog, had her first trip to the vet today. She's healthy and happy and ready to go back to school. The entire staff at Fairlea Animal Hospital welcomed her with open arms and generously sponsored her visit. They have a great team and Ruby is well cared for.

Please help keep our kids safe! In WV, it is illegal to pass a school bus while the school bus stop-arm is extended and the red lights are flashing. Motorists should come to a complete stop in front of and behind a school bus when the red lights are flashing, and the stop-arm is extended. Motorists may begin moving only when the red flashing lights are turned off, the stop-arm is withdrawn, and the bus starts to move. When yellow flashing lights are active, the bus is preparing to stop to load or unload children. Motorists should slow down and prepare to stop. Although the school bus is one of the safest modes of transportation, illegal school bus passing is a deadly risk to bus riders and their caretakers.

Welcome Back to School Grades 1 - 12
Greenbrier East administration looks forward to welcoming back all of the students on Monday morning. We also wanted to communicate that the student parking lot is still under construction and will not be completed until after the 1st week of school. Therefore, we are encouraging students to ride the bus or carpool as much as possible. Students driving to school will need to enter campus from AEI drive. Students will park at the softball field parking lot and in the free parking at the fairgrounds. We will have law enforcement and B3 security directing traffic for parking. Students will also need to walk through the stadium when both coming to school in the morning and leaving school in the afternoon to avoid the construction zone. Thank you for your understanding and consideration during this time!
