Greenbrier East High School

This semester students in Ms. McMahan's Business Computer Application class partnered with The Education Alliance to offer a Work-Based Learning/Virtual Internship program here at East.  One of our partners, Nancy Ritter, Director of the Bill Noe Flight School at Marshall University, met with students and challenged them to pay attention to detail in a class exercise.  Students were to write down a detailed description of their morning routines.  Two students had excellent submissions, and they, along with their families, were provided with a “Day of Flight”.  They left from the Greenbrier Valley Airport and flew to Charleston Airport to tour Marshall University’s Flight School and fly their simulator.  Students and families enjoyed their flights!
