Next week on Wednesday 4/30 the Greenbrier East Academic Showdown Team will compete in the State Tournament in Charleston against 13 other teams. These students have been practicing since January, and qualified by placing 2nd in the regional competition in February. In preparation for the State Tournament, the students have challenged a staff team to a match, and several staff have stepped up to accept this challenge. This will take place next Tuesday 4/29 during 3rd period. We obviously don't have a space currently for an assembly, but this event will be LiveStreamed via a Teams Meeting or Google Meet to any classroom teacher who wants to show it in their room.
