Our favorite four-legged member of the Greenbrier East family, Ruby, recently had her annual wellness checkup! We’re happy to report that our school therapy dog is doing great and ready to start the new school year happy and healthy.
A very special thank you to everyone at Fairlea Animal Hospital for taking such wonderful care of Ruby. We especially want to thank Dr. Tomlinson for sponsoring Ruby and Dr. Edmonds for the excellent care she has provided over the years. We are so grateful for our community partners who help keep Ruby healthy and happy!

West Virginia students entering grades 7 & 12 this fall must have their Tdap and Meningitis immunizations before school begins. Students may submit their immunization records to the school nurse on the first day of school or at the county Board of Education Office. Snack packs will be sent home with all Greenbrier County Schools students the week of June 1.
For our virtual students, snack packs will be available for pick up at Greenbrier East High School. We will share additional details soon to coordinate a pickup time that works with the school.

Summer School 2026 Registration is now open. Students can recover credits in core classes they have failed so that they don't have to repeat the class next school year. More details available in the registration form, on the school website, and in the student's grade level google classroom.

Summer School 2026 Registration Now Open

This is a transportation update for Eastern Greenbrier Middle School and Greenbrier East High School.
Bus 14‑06 will not be running this morning.
We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage families to make alternate transportation arrangements if possible.
Students who normally ride Bus 14‑06 will be marked with an excused absence if they are unable to attend school today.
